Participating Colleges
The Nationwide Testing Agency administers the NEET, a national admissions exam (NTA). This test is taken by students who want to be considered for admission to medical and dental schools.
• Around 355 medical schools and 125 dentistry schools accept NEET scores for admission.
• Under the All-India Quota, 15% of medical seats are allocated for qualified candidates; the other seats are dispersed through state-level counselling for 85 percent of the State Quota seats.
In all Indian states, admissions will be done in accordance with the Medical Counselling Committee's rules. These rules, on the other hand, would not apply to the states of J&K and Ladakh. NEET is currently the only examination available to medical students, and it is also the country's only and most desired medical admissions exam.
